Automation time-back calculator

How many hours a year does a repeated task take today? Tasks a week, minutes each and the people doing them, turned into hours.

This calculator needs JavaScript. Without it, the formula under “How we worked this out” does the sum by hand, or call 010 055 8682.

Across everyone who does it.
For one person, one time.
People who do this task in a normal week.
Your own count: 52 weeks less leave, public holidays and shutdowns.
%
Your own assumption, from 0 to 100.
R
Your own figure, in rand.

How we worked this out

Every number comes from you. The sum is hours a year = tasks a week x minutes per task x people / 60 x working weeks.

If you give a share you expect to automate, the hours back are the hours a year multiplied by that share. If you give a cost per hour, the rand figure is the hours multiplied by that cost. Both are your own assumptions and are shown that way.

This is the time the work takes today. How much of it software can remove is for Pro Tech AI to tell you after looking at the process, so the result promises nothing.
