The Pro Tech Graduate Development Program boosts youth employability through critical digital skills development, in partnership with a leading academic institution.
The graduate’s journey
A one-year programme to build skills and drive outcomes. A partner pairs up each graduate and mentors them through the upskilling journey.
- Month 1
Buddy up phase
Orientation, job shadowing, upskilling in relevant business knowledge and a strong mentorship phase.
- Month 4
Monitoring phase
The next three months allocate manageable tasks and activities, with regular monitoring and support.
- Month 12
Go all out phase
Contribute to on-the-job tasks and deliverables in a controlled environment during the last eight months.
The graduate development plan

- Step 1
Graduate recruitment
Pro Tech sources exceptional talent from leading academic institutions nationwide, with skills and scenario-based situational interviews to find people with the potential to excel.
- Step 2
Pro Tech development programme
A six-week intensive learning and development programme, building skills in the graduate’s chosen areas of expertise.
- Step 3
Client engagement
Graduates work from the Johannesburg office or remotely, paired with mentors on current client engagements, learning the client’s industry and operations and measured against key performance metrics.
- Step 4
Client transition
After successful outcomes, candidates may transition to full-time or contract roles with client organisations.
